In 2014, a stretch of Route 66 outside Tijeras, New Mexico learned to sing. Rumble strips cut into the eastbound lane played "America the Beautiful", but only if you held a steady 45 mph. Too fast or too slow, and the anthem went off-key.
Built for a National Geographic TV series, the singing road has been fading ever since, and its signs are long gone. This shirt keeps the record spinning.
