The Great Pyramid of Giza has survived millennia. Now it has to survive a customer review.
Built as Khufu’s tomb, it still contains his stone sarcophagus in the King’s Chamber. This imaginary visitor gives it four stars: “Twenty years to build. Sarcophagus empty. Rude.” The twenty-year figure comes from Herodotus’s much later account, not a verified construction schedule.
Ancient engineering, modern expectations, and one reviewer who apparently thought the pharaoh would still be available for questions.
