Alcatraz Swim Team.
Some destinations sell postcards. Alcatraz gets a swim team.
This Temporary Tourist design treats one of the world’s most recognisable former prisons like a completely legitimate vintage athletic club. Collegiate lettering and old-school swim-team styling collide with the rather inconvenient geography of Alcatraz Island and San Francisco Bay.
Dry travel humour for swimmers, history people, San Francisco obsessives, strange-place collectors and anyone who appreciates a souvenir with a slightly bad idea behind it.
