Game night. Mesopotamia. Your move.

Board games were causing arguments long before Monopoly came along.

The Royal Game of Ur dates back roughly 4,500 years to ancient Mesopotamia, where two players raced their pieces across a decorated board using dice, luck and strategy. Archaeologists uncovered surviving game boards in the Royal Cemetery of Ur, in modern-day Iraq.

Our Game Night — Ur, Mesopotamia T-shirt brings an ancient pastime into the world of retro game-night apparel, with bold collegiate lettering, illustrated Mesopotamian players and a red, white and navy graphic.

A little ancient history. A little competitive spirit. Absolutely no need for a gaming console.

Perfect for:

  • Ancient history buffs and archaeology enthusiasts
  • Board game lovers and tabletop gaming fans
  • History teachers, students and museum enthusiasts
  • Anyone fascinated by Mesopotamia, Sumerian civilisation and the ancient world
  • An unusual gift for the person who takes game night far too seriously

Your move. They’ve been playing this one for millennia.

Our suppliers provide the measurements. There might be a variation of up to 2 inches (5 cm) in the product measurements.

A useful tip is to compare these measurements with those of a product you have at home.

A Length

Begin at the collar's edge at the top of the t-shirt (the highest shoulder point) and extend the tape to the shirt's bottom.

B Width

Start the tape at the seam just below one sleeve and stretch it across to the seam below the other sleeve.
